I'm Luca De Matteis, an Italian sommelier living in Germany since 2013. I still work today in international hospitality as a professional sommelier and, in parallel, I help restaurants of every cuisine, hotels, wine bars and private customers build distinctive wine lists and choose Italian, German and international bottles of real quality — no hidden markups, no unnecessary intermediaries, and direct advice from someone who tastes every wine before recommending it.

My catalog comes from a personal selection of Italian, German and international wineries, built over more than a decade of experience between dining rooms, sommellerie and high-end hotellerie. Every wine is designed for by-the-glass service and wine lists — not just for a shelf. The selection keeps growing with labels from across the world, picked not for fashion but for technical and gastronomic consistency.

I work mainly with international hospitality (Italian, French, Asian, Mediterranean, seafood, vegetarian and fine-dining cuisines), premium pizzerias, trattorias, boutique hotels, hotel chains and wine bars across Germany (Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin) and northern Italy. For private customers I also curate gift selections, mixed wooden cases and pairings for special dinners.

What sets me apart: more than 20 years of experience in international hospitality and restaurants, and over 10 years of professional activity in the wine world as a sommelier.
