- 15-16 °C for Bardolino and Valpolicella; 17-18 °C for Ripasso and Amarone
- Glass
- A large red wine glass, with a not overly wide opening for young wines; a moderately balloon-shaped glass for mature Amarone
- Decanting
- Not necessary for young wines. For young Amarone, 1-2 hours in a decanter; for mature bottles, decant gently only if needed to separate the sediment.
