Serving: 16-18 °C for reds; 8-10 °C for coastal whites; 12-14 °C for Vin Santo
Glass: A broad tulip-shaped glass for Sangiovese and structured reds; a medium-sized glass for Vermentino and Ansonica.
Decanting: Young Chianti: 20–30 minutes if closed. Mature Brunello and Bolgheri: decant gently for 1–2 hours, monitoring its evolution in the glass.
